What’s Involved In Building A Steel Wall, Vinyl Liner Pool?

Before ground is broken, a Patriot Pool & Spa designer works with you to design a pool that fits with your backyard terrain. This can be accomplished in during an in-store visit or on-site at your location. During the final design meeting, we go over any additional features you would like to incorporate into your poolscape.

We begin construction of your dream pool as soon as you sign the install agreement and secure your deposit. Excavation begins after the area is marked out, to ensure that no underground pipes are broken or damaged during construction, and dimensions and grading are double-checked, to ensure the construction process goes as smoothly and quickly as possible. The backbone of the pool (the steel panels) are assembled around the perimeter of the pool. Bracing and deck support are installed to support the steel walls. Next, our licensed plumber installs all the necessary plumbing. Then in order to support the structure, a concrete footer is poured to secure the structure.

The interior finish is completed with our exclusive Pool Bottom material, a porous mixture of sand, cement, and/or vermiculite. Our licensed electrician makes all electrical connections and ensures everything is up to code. A vinyl liner of your choice is installed and fitted, and the pool is then filled with water!

After everything is complete, we clean and grade the yard to ensure that any construction debris is removed, and your yard is ready for summer. Don’t forget, Patriot Pool & Spa will come out and teach you how to take care of your pool at your orientation.
